Announcement Regarding the New Release of the HsD Electron Supply Unit and Price Increases for Certain Existing Products
On Monday, September 2, 2024, Reltech will release the HsD, a compact and lightweight power supply.
HsD is a compact, lightweight model—among power supplies (non-medical devices) designed specifically for transcutaneous power delivery—that is easy to carry and use.
Due to its portability and ease of use, Reltech positions the HsD as its flagship model among electron reduction therapy devices. To make it accessible to as many people as possible, Reltech has exceptionally set the HsD’s suggested retail price at a lower level than that of other electron reduction therapy devices, based on a different approach*.
* As a general rule, Reltech sets the suggested retail price of its products based on cost.
On the same day as the release of the HsD, we will be raising the suggested retail price of the MSD reltec—a medical device for healthcare professionals that has served as our standard model for electron-reduction therapy devices —as well as the suggested retail price of the MD21 medical device for healthcare professionals, due to rising component costs, as shown in the table below.
